We are really excited about our upcoming litter prospects!
We have some really nice high quality dogs in our breeding program at this time. We usually only have 1 - 2 litters a year. ~~~~~~~~~ ***** NEWS FLASH ***** NEWS FLASH ***** NEWS FLASH ***** We have decided to do another Sport Mix litter. HNH Solar Flare has been bred to the JRT male, Strut, from Little Eden JRTs, and puppies are due Mid Sept 2010!   We have considered doing another sport mix litter for a while now. However, when we do these litters we are very careful to make sure we have potential homes lined up for the pups as well as use the highest quality breeding stock we can find, to help ensure that the resultant pups are capable of doing what they are bred to do... be great sport dogs!
When considering doing a Border/Jack litter we considered who we had to use for such a purpose, and Flare stood out as the perfect mate for a Jack Russell mixed litter. She is extremely biddable and has a big on and off switch. She loves to work and play, and is very athletic and outgoing when in "on" mode, yet she is also extremely easy to live with and laid back when in "off" mode. She has been the easiest dog ever for either my husband or I to train as she is super intellegent. And to top all that off she is relatively small standing less than 19 inches tall.
So we started looking high and low for the "perfect" Jack Russell male to use. It was not an easy feat as our standards were extremely high. However, we believe we found him! Little Eden Strut is an AMAZING little Jack. This the little guy is really special! He is just over 12” tall, with a super great temperament, and superior structure and movement. Strut is also one of those dogs that has “heart”. Not to mention he is one of the over-all winningest JRT in the JRTCA. With a huge title record for himself as well as a number of production title records. We were only going to do a Border/Jack litter if we could find the right male. And Strut is just the dog with the structure and temperament that we were looking for. I wanted to be sure to do the best I can to achieve the goal of producing puppies that will be trainable to do this AND have the build to have the speed, do the jumping, and hold up over time. I think I found the right dog combination to make that goal happen. Stay tuned for more details..... The puppies will be available to quality sport homes only.
